When Alex goes down the slide with Marshall, the background voices don't shout "Alex," not even with the conjunction "and."
The title itself is a misnomer as it sounds like Alex is in a situation and needs to be saved, but the plot doesn't go that way and Alex is actually the one that ends up saving the day.
