• This episode marks the debut of the space aliens.
• This is the first Season 2 episode that aired, but was shown out of sequence, as "Pups Save the Penguins" and "Pups Save a Dolphin Pup" were the actual first episodes of Season 2, production-wise.
• This is the second time when a character outside the PAW Patrol goes down the Lookout slide, his or her name is shouted by the background voices (that being the alien).
  • The first was "Pups Go All Monkey" when that character is Mandy.
    • Of course, at the time the alien goes down the slide, so does Ryder, but his name is not shouted, another second time, this one being when someone who goes down the slide, his name is not said.
    • The first was "Pups Save Alex" (that someone being Alex).
  • Ryder's name was later shouted out in "Air Pups".
• This is the second episode with Chase's "super spy" uniform. His pup-pack was also upgraded with a zipline.
• Towards the end of the episode, Ryder slides down the Lookout's slide for the first time in the series.
• Rocky says "Green means glow!" instead of his usual catchphrase, "Green means go!"
• This is the second time Mayor Goodway wears her cowgirl hat and seen with her washtub bass, which first appeared in "Pups Save a Hoedown".
  • It is also revealed that she is a good friends with Farmer Yumi, as she is leaving Farmer Yumi's farmhouse after a hoedown.
• The entire episode has references to the Jimmy Neutron: The Movie.
  • Bettina, Mayor Goodway and Chase getting bubbled.
  • Rocky fixes the space ship.
  • The space alien calls his mom.
• Skye's the only one that the Space Alien wasn't scared of.

Errors

• In the title card, Chase is shown in his regular police uniform, but in the episode, he's in his super spy gear.
• Chase's pup-pack disappears and reappears several times in this episode.
  • This seems to be a recurring error in several episodes of Season 2 where Chase is in his super spy gear.
• Marshall clips through the elevator doors when he goes back to sleep and closes on him.
• When the Space Alien's mother calls, Zuma loses his eyebrows.
