Modified_Paw_Patrol_Screenshot,_Railroad_Crossing.png (download)‎ (640 × 360 pixels, file size: 373 KB, MIME type: image/png)

This is a fan-modified screengrab of one of the railroad crossing gates (though in the background as Ryder and Chase are the subjects of this picture) featured on Paw Patrol (from the episode "Pup Pup Boogie" and (Chase and the Pup Pup Boogie gallery).

The crossing gate was changed from black and white stripe to red and white stripe, as seen on many real modern crossings in and outside the U.S., although some crossing gates remain other stripe colors besides red and white, including in some Asian countries like Japan. It's true railroad crossing gates in the U.S. were black and white from the earlier days up through the 1960s and into the early 1970s, when red and white gates started replacing black and white gates if not sooner. In spite of this, some animated shows, including Paw Patrol, still feature black and white striped railroad gates. The fan who modified this image prefers red and white striped gates over all else but does like crossing gates regardless of their stripe color.

PLEASE NOTE: This sceen-cap is NOT real and currently there are no red and white crossing gates featured on Paw Patrol, this is just a modified screen-cap done by a fan so please do not let yourself be fooled by this image and don't go looking for this on any Paw Patrol episodes (unless the Paw Patrol crew happens to decide to change the crossing gates to this color but do not expect this to occur.)
