The PAW Patrol is the titular team of the series with the same name.

Original Members
- Ryder
- Ryder: A ten-year-old human boy who is the leader of the PAW Patrol. His job is to give the pups mission instructions. He drives an ATV. He lives with the six original pups at the Lookout. His catchphrases are "Whenever you're in trouble, just yelp for help!" and "No job is too big, no pup is too small!"
- Chase
- Chase: The mature and serious German Shepherd with the skills of a police dog, traffic cop, and super spy. He drives a blue police truck and a super spy truck. His main call-outs are "These paws uphold the laws!" and "Chase is on the case!" He is the second-in-command of the PAW Patrol.
- Marshall
- Marshall: The clumsy and big-hearted Dalmatian who serves as the team's firedog and medic. He drives a fire truck and an ambulance. He almost always causes a humorous mishap when the PAW Patrol pups try to enter the Lookout elevator. His main call-outs are "I'm fired up!" and "Ready for a ruff, ruff rescue!"
- Skye
- Skye: The graceful and smart Cockapoo with the skills of a pilot who serves as the aviator and air rescue pup of the team. She drives a pink and silver helicopter with a harness in the back. Her main call-outs are "This pup's gotta fly!" and "Let's take to the sky!"
- Rocky
- Rocky: The aquaphobic, but enthusiastic and resourceful mixed-breed dog with eco skills. He drives a recycling truck. He hates water and is often hesitant to carry out water-based missions, unless it involves using his scuba suit or becoming a merpup. His main call-outs are "Don't lose it, reuse it!" and "Green means go!"
- Rubble
- Rubble: The gruff-looking, but sweet and athletic English Bulldog with the skills of a construction pup. He drives a yellow bulldozer. He is a big eater who likes to crack jokes, often relating to his love of eating. His main call-outs are "Rubble on the double!" and "Let's dig it!"
- Zuma
- Zuma: The water and laughter-loving chocolate Labrador. He has the skills of a lifeguard, such as swimming and diving. He drives a hovercraft that can transform into a submarine. His main call-outs are "Let's dive in!" and "Ready, set, get wet!"
Secondary/Occasional Members
- Cap'n Turbot
- Cap'n Turbot: The PAW Patrol's most frequent caller who serves as an official member in special water-based missions. He is the marine biologist and watchman of Adventure Bay. He debuts in "Pups Make a Splash" and first joins in "Pups Save a Mer-Pup". He appears in the opening theme from Season 3 onwards. His vehicles are a boat called the Flounder and an orange diving bell. His call-outs are "Turbot tackles trout!" and "This cap'n can do!"
- Robo-Dog
- Robo-Dog: A fast and robotic pup who was built by Ryder. He has the duty of driving the PAW Patrol's multi-member vehicles: the PAW Patroller, the Air Patroller, the Mission PAW Cruiser and the Sea Patroller. He debuts in "Pups Save Ryder's Robot" and becomes an official member in "The New Pup". His vehicle, the PAW Patroller, appears in the theme from season 3 onwards. He cannot speak and has no call-outs, but communicates by barking.
- Everest
- Everest: A hyperactive Siberian Husky who is called to serve as an official member whenever there is an emergency relating to snow or ice. She drives a snowcat. She lives with Jake at the snowboarding resort of Adventure Bay. She debuts and joins the team in "The New Pup". She appears in the opening theme from season three onwards. Her call-outs are "Ice or snow, I'm ready to go!" and "Off the trail, Everest won't fail!"
- Tracker
- Tracker: A sensitive potcake dog with super hearing capabilities who lives in the jungle with Carlos. He drives a white and green jeep. He debuts and becomes a member in "Tracker Joins the Pups!". His call-outs are "I'm all ears!" and "Soy todo oídos!"
- Tuck & Ella (together known as the Mighty Twins)
- The Mighty Twins: A pair of twin Golden Retriever siblings who have the ability to change sizes (Tuck shrinks to small size, and Ella grows to super size). They'll help in Mighty Pups missions whenever Ladybird is up to no good. Tuck's catchphrase is "Mighty and small, I'll give it my all!", while Ella's are "Time to think big!" and "It's grow time!". They both debuted in "Mighty Pups, Super Paws: Pups Meet the Mighty Twins".
- Rex
- Rex: A Bernese Mountain Dog who lives and works with dinosaurs in the Dino Wilds. He has black, brown, and light cream fur in patches. He has brown eyes, wears a black and blue helmet, a lime green vest, and a high-tech wheelchair that carries his hind legs. He'll help in Dino Rescue missions whenever dinosaurs are in peril. His catchphrase is "Let's dino do this!". He debuted in the episode "Dino Rescue: Pups and the Lost Dino Eggs" in Season 7.
- Wild (formerly known as Wild Cat)
- Wild: A ginger tabby cat who is the first cat member of the PAW Patrol. Wild has light cream fur with patches of light orange fur around his eyes. Wild wears a white helmet and a red, and black suit and also has a dark orange mohawk as well. His catchphrase is "This cat is ready for a wild ride!", and as a Cat Pack member, his catchphrase is "This cat's gotta run!". He helps in Moto Pups missions and debuted in the Season 7 episode "Moto Pups: Pups vs. the Ruff-Ruff Pack". He is also a member of the Cat Pack, and represents a cheetah and wear an orange uniform with black spots.
- Liberty
- Liberty: The energetic long-haired Dachshund who debuted in PAW Patrol: The Movie and made her series debut in "Liberty Makes a New Friend". She has golden fur. She wears a coral helmet with a coral and blue uniform. Her catchphrases are "Liberty, reporting for duty!" and "I am ready to ride!". Her job is to help the pups to save Adventure City.
- Al
- Al: A Basset Hound who debuted in "Big Truck Pups: Pups Stop a Flood". He has white and brown fur. He wears a grey and red trucker uniform. His catchphrases are "HONK HONK!" and "That's a big 10-4 and out the door!". His job is a trucker and knows everything about trucks as he also speaks trucker.
- Coral
- Coral: A Cockapoo and Mer-pup who debuted in "Aqua Pups: Pups Save a Floating Castle". She has Skye's fur color, albeit a lighter version. She wears a purple and black diving suit. Her catchphrase is "By land or sea, you can count on me!". Her job is to help the Mer-pups and protect Puplantis.
Cat Pack Members
The Cat Pack is a team of cats recruited by Wild to assist the PAW Patrol.
- Rory
- Rory: A British Shorthair who debuted in "Cat Pack: Skye and Rory Flip It". She wears white and light blue gear. Her catchphrase is "Let’s pounce!". Her job is to serve as the White Tiger member of the Cat Pack.
- Shade
- Shade: A tuxedo cat who debuted in "Cat Pack: Everest, Shade and the Mountain Goat". She wears purple gear. Her catchphrase is "This cat's gotta climb!". Her job is to serve as the Jaguar member of the Cat Pack.
- Leo
- Leo: A tabby cat who debuted in "Cat Pack: Marshall, Leo and a Ferris Wheel". He wears yellow gear. His catchphrase is "I’m roaring to go!". His job is to serve as the Lion member of the Cat Pack.
Junior Patrollers
The Junior Patrollers are a group of Pomeranians mentored by Liberty to assist the PAW Patrol.
- Nano
- Nano: A Pomeranian who debuted in PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie and made his series debut in "Mighty Pups vs. The Mayor of the Universe". He has a double coat of light orange fur, a cream muzzle and chest, small triangle ears, and a fluffy tail. He has blue eyes, small brown eyebrows, and a brown nose. He wears a blue cap with a green and yellow badge with a yellow paw-print in the center and a blue neckerchief with a small brown belt buckled around the ends in the center. His catchphrase is "Junior Patrol is on a roll!". He, along with Mini and Tot, has the ability to duplicate and make copies of himself.
- Mini
- Mini: A Pomeranian who debuted in PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie and made her series debut in "Mighty Pups vs. The Mayor of the Universe". She has a double coat of light orange fur, a cream muzzle and chest, small triangle ears, and a fluffy tail. She has green eyes, small brown eyebrows, and a brown nose. She wears a yellow cap with a green and yellow badge with a yellow paw-print in the center and a yellow neckerchief with a small brown belt buckled around the ends in the center. Her catchphrase is currently unknown. She, along with Nano and Tot, has the ability to duplicate and make copies of herself.
- Tot
- Tot: A Pomeranian who debuted in PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie and made his series debut in "Mighty Pups vs. The Mayor of the Universe". He has a double coat of light orange fur, a cream muzzle with a stripe between his eyes, a cream chest, small triangle ears, and a fluffy tail. He has brown eyes, small brown eyebrows, and a brown nose. He wears a red cap with a green and yellow badge with a yellow paw-print in the center and a red neckerchief with a small brown belt buckled around the ends in the center. His catchphrase is currently unknown. He, along with Nano and Mini, has the ability to duplicate and make copies of himself.

- Alex Porter was given "honorary" member status after helping save Cali in "Pups Save Alex".
- Jim Gaffigan is a real-life comedian whose in-universe dog recreation was a member in a short.
- Mayor Goodway tries to save Danny in "Pups Rescue a Rescuer".
- Sweetie helps in "Jet to the Rescue" and "All Paws on Deck".
- Katie temporarily fills in for Ryder in "Pups and Katie Stop the Barking Kitty Crew".
- Chickaletta was given her own chick-tag from Ryder for her bravery of rescuing a baby chick in "Pups Save the Hatchlings".
- Arrby helps clean up Codi Gizmody's mess in "All Paws on Deck".
- Loop helps Marshall find Mayor Goodway and Chickaletta in "Pups Save the Wind Trekkers".
- Charger helps Rubble in "Charger Visits the Pups".
