- This is the first episode to use Elijha Hammill as the voice of Ryder.
- As of this episode, Chase is the first pup to be first called for the mission 50 times.
- Julius Goodway and Julia Goodway ride the Lookout's elevator for the first time.
- They also go down the Lookout's slide for the first time. After this, they ride in Zuma's hovercraft for the first time. They are both the second/third members (as they rode the elevator together) of the Goodway family to ride the Lookout's elevator and slide down the pups' slide and into one of their vehicles, with the first being their aunt Mayor Goodway.
- Their names are also shouted out when the background singers shout “Twins!”
- Chickaletta is confirmed by Mayor Goodway to be Adventure Bay's Deputy Mayor, which was first mentioned by Mayor Goodway in "Pups and the Beanstalk", though since it took place in Rubble's dream in that episode, was unclear in that episode if it was actually true or just a part of Rubble's dream. Mayor Goodway mentions it when she dedicates a bench (complete with a Chickaletta placard) to Chickaleta for an episode of Hello, Adventure Bay!.
